About me
As a child, I used to color Chips Ahoy cookies with crayons before eating them. In spite of that I have survived to middle age (so far). I'm a former pediatric occupational therapist who is now a professional illustrator. I have completed illustration work for advertising for a pilot healthcare project and had 7 images published in the Newfoundland Quarterly magazine winter 2020 edition. I love animals and have completed many pet portraits for clients. I had several wins at the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts and Letters Awards in visual art, and participated in exhibits with the League of Artists of Western Newfoundland, Woody Point Writers Festival, and two joint exhibits with my artist sister, Shell LeDrew.
